Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the start of the handover of residential plots in the “Maskan 5” mid-income housing project “Maskan 5” in West Qena, starting Sunday, May 4, 2025, with the handover continuing through Tuesday, May 13, 2025, on specific days as announced by the city authority.
“El-Sherbini” Stresses the Need to Review Utility, Road, and Service Projects in Areas Where Land Has Been Transferred
The Minister of Housing emphasized the need to review infrastructure, road, and service projects in areas where land has been allocated, and to provide full support to land beneficiaries in the city, with the aim of achieving the desired development in Upper Egypt’s cities.
Engineer Radwan Abdel-Rashid, head of the West Qena City Development Authority, stated that plots in the “Distinguished Neighborhood” area of Block 4 will be handed over for lots 96–140 on Sunday, May 4, 2025; for lots 141–185 on Monday, May 5, 2025; and for lots 186– 230 on Tuesday, May 6, 2025; plots 231–275 on Wednesday, May 7, 2025; and plots 276–318 on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
The head of the West Qena City Development Authority noted that Monday and Tuesday, May 12 and 13, 2025, will be set aside for those who failed to collect their items on the previous dates.
