Video: Rep. Mostafa Abu Doma Inspects Construction Work at Tama Central Hospital and Sets a Completion Date

On the morning of Thursday, April 16, 2026, Representative Mustafa Hussein Abu Doma, a member of the House of Representatives, inspected the ongoing construction work at Tama Central Hospital. The inspection tour was conducted under the auspices of Dr. Amr Douidar, Deputy Minister of Health for Sohag. In addition, the visit was attended by Dr. Ahmed Talaat Abu Doma, Assistant Secretary-General of the Nation’s Future Party, and members of the party’s secretariat in Tama. The MP was accompanied by a large delegation of residents and youth from the district, representing various villages and areas, to review the latest developments at the medical facility.

The field visit was attended by Dr. Yasser Ali Hamdan, Director of the Health Department, as well as Dr. Ashraf Radwan, Director of Tama Central Hospital. In the same context, Dr. Bishoy Karam, Dr. Heba Mahmoud, and Dr. Mina Emad were present in their capacity as Deputy Directors of the hospital. In addition, a delegation of hospital physicians participated, and everyone listened to a detailed explanation regarding the scope of work and implementation rates. Consequently, Mr. Adel Ayad, Project Manager, gave a comprehensive presentation in the presence of Engineer Mahmoud Bakri from the National Service Projects Authority. Also present were Engineer Abdel Muti Al-Gamal, a consultant to the Ministry of Health; Engineer Haitham, the Implementation Manager; Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Qader; Engineer Ayman Ahmed; and Engineer Ayub Ammar.

Delivery Date and Timeline for Tama Central Hospital

During his presentation, Dean Adel Ayad, an engineer, confirmed that there are currently no obstacles hindering the progress of the work. Accordingly, he announced that the tentative delivery date will be June 30, 2026. He also explained that this phase will be followed by the installation and testing of the gas networks, as well as the complete furnishing and equipping of the hospital. Furthermore, these final operations will take approximately three to four months. As a result of this schedule, the hospital will be fully ready for handover to the Ministry of Health in preparation for the actual start of operations and service to the public.

Details of the tour of the hospital wards and the fever clinic

The MP and his accompanying delegation inspected the entire hospital building to assess the actual progress on the ground. Accordingly, the tour included patient rooms, the reception area, the emergency and trauma departments, as well as the outpatient clinics. The delegation also visited the dialysis and intensive care units to check on the status of the technical equipment. Separately, the MP inspected the Fever Hospital building with the aim of finding a fundamental solution to its structural issues. In addition, the MP explored options for renovation and restoration or complete demolition and reconstruction to ensure the provision of medical services befitting the residents of Tama.

Praise for past parliamentary efforts and the solidarity of all

Representative Mustafa Abu Doma expressed his thanks and appreciation to all former and current representatives for their dedicated efforts. In this regard, he specifically mentioned Major General Salah Shawki Aqil, Major General Nour Abdulrazzaq, and Major General Magdi Al-Qadi. Furthermore, he praised the efforts of Representative Mustafa Salem and Engineer Ali Abdul-Satar. In this regard, the representative emphasized that the results we see today are the product of everyone’s hard work and collaboration to improve the healthcare system. Similarly, he stressed that the ultimate goal is to serve the residents of the district, who have long awaited this project.

Conclusion of the visit and emphasis on speedy completion

At the conclusion of his tour, the representative emphasized the need to contact him immediately should any urgent obstacles arise. As a result, the representative is working to ensure that the pre-determined delivery schedule remains unaffected. In addition, he stressed his full commitment to the swift completion of this important medical facility. Ultimately, this close monitoring aims to fulfill the hopes of the residents of Tama Center for comprehensive and modern healthcare. Accordingly, field visits will continue to ensure compliance with all agreed-upon technical and timeline standards.
